Aubrey L. Davee during World War II served in the South Pacific with the U.S. Navy for 17 months. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He served as commander of his local American Legion Post. As an Attorney he was a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Association of Plaintiff's Attorneys, American Bar Association and the County and District Attorney's Association of Texas. Aubrey has served as district attorney of McCulloch County (elected 1930) and as postmaster of the Brady, Texas Post office (1947-1953). He practiced civil law, and was County Attorney for McCulloch County, Texas.
He and his wife were also members of the Fourth Street Church of Christ in Brady Texas.
Zola was a member of the South Brady Home Demonstration Club, and of the Brady Sorosis Club. She was also a member along with her husband Aubrey of the Fourth and Bridge Street Church of Christ in Brady, Texas
