William J. COPLEY

Harry G. Copley COPLEY

Powershiek county Historical and Genealogical Society show Harry's death with two different date one for the 11th and one for the 16th. He was buried in BrooklynF100 Cemetery, per Grave Stone Records of Poweshiek, Iowa. Listed on page 151. He is in Section 6 Row 1 with the scribing 6 years, 4 months and 11 days old. Perhaps he died on the 11 of November and wasn't buried until the 16th.

Fred is buried in the Brooklyn 100F Cemetery, Section 6, Row 1, Brooklyn, Iowa. Grave Stone Records of Poweshiek, Iowa


Ellen Senovella M. KANZIUS

Funeral services for Ellen were handled by the Hammond-Haas Funeral Home in Redford, Michigan. Interment at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Michigan.
Ellen's Father came from Yugoslavia and her Mother came from Austria. Ellen was born in Austria. ellen. her Mother and Father arrived in the United states by way of ellis Island. they migrated to cecil, Pennsylvania. the family gre to include Agatha, catherine, helena, antonio and Peter Michael. They family decided to move to florida. when the train stopped in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and Ellen's mother got off the train to get the children some fruit she just disappeared. Their father searched every where at the train station and they never found Ellen's mother. Her father continued the journey to Florida with the children. He bought a farm and worked the land. Ellen took care of the siblings. When the neighbors and towns people noticed there was no woman living there, they came and took the children. All the children were given a home, except for Ellen, who was by then 11 or 12 years old. she went to an orphanage. The children eventually found each other many years later. Helena and Peter Michael were taken in by the neighbor on the next farm  and Peter Michael drowned from a shrimp boat in St. Augustine, Florida on August 19, 1933. Peter was 20 years old at the time of the accident. This information was received from Aunt Lean (Helena), Ellen's half sister.


James Calderwood COPLEY

James resided in Livonia Michigan. Funeral Services were held at the Hammond-Haas funeral Home, Redford, Michigan. Interment at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Michigan. James and his brother, Glenn were in World War I at the same time. they were recorded in the Jasper and marshall Counties of Iowa Military Pamphlet. Marshall County was in the World War 1917-1918 Pamphlet.
