James S. PICKENS

    James has several things that are confusing about his family. L P Tanner  lists James' date of death as 1886, while Jim list's it and it is found in  other places as being 1866. James S and Polly are buried in the Parish Cemetary and their names appear on the back of L. D.'s monument. According to the 1855 census the family lived near Albion for 7 years, Jeminabeing born in  Otsego Co. The family made their move to Albion in 1848. Also this census listes  a Samuel age 94 living in the household.
