Lela WALKER

They have 4 girls and 1 boy and lived on a stock farm in Canada.


Downing WALKER

They have 2 sons and living in Canada.


James Dayton WALKER

Born on his parents farm.

   After James Dayton completed his schooling at the Pleasant Grove school he worked on his father farm until he was 21. Dayton Walker lived for a while on 40 acres of land that had been a part of his father's place. They moved later to a farm near turney, Mssouri.

    They had 7 children 6 boys  and 1 girl. The 2 old boys were in Clinton County, Missouri . The other 5 were born in Dwey County, Oklahoma The family moved from Missouri to Dewey County, Oklahoma in 1900 where they took up government homesteads.

    In 1900 they moved from Oklahoma to Carroll County, Arkansas, wher they lived for about 7 years. In 1918 they returned to Turney, Missouri. At this writing (1960) Luck Walker is in a rest home in Cameron, Missouri.

    The following news item was taken from the Lathrop paper in  November, 1922
"Mrs. Lucy Walker of Turney went to Lathrop thursday to send the day with Mrs. Doretts Walker."


Lucy Leone TILLETT

She moved with her parents, John and Maria Tillett, to Missouri, they located on a farm a few miles east of Lathrop, Missouri and short ways east of the old Brookings Church.
