               Man Dies on Fishing Trip, Services Set
  Funeral services for Earl A. Wyer, 62, 301 Third Ave N., who died Monday
morning of an apparent heart attack while fishing at Riley Creek, near
Hagerman, will be held at 11 am. Thursday in White Mortuary Chapel, with Rev.
Howard R. Olson officiating.  Concluding reites will be held at Twin Falls
Cemetery.
    Gooding County Sheriff Vern Royse, Hagerman Marshal Dana Gilmore and
Gooding County Coroner B.A. Bodmer all were called to the scene.
   Bodmer said he didn't think Mr. Wyer had been dead over an hour after Dan
Baukneckt, Mountain Home Air Force Base, reported the death about 7:45 am.
   Mr. Wyer was born June 30, 1903 at Cross Timbers, Mo., and spent more of
his early life in Oklahoma.  He attended Anderson Theological Seminary,
Anderson, Ind. and had lived several years in Kilgore, Texas., before coming to Twin Falls in 1945.
    Mr. Wyer was pastor of the Church of God here for one year and later
worked as a carpenter.  He had been a pastor in the Church of God for 30 years and at the time of his death was a member fo the First Church of the Nazarene, Twin Falls, and was active in scouting work.
    He married Dora Williams in 1944 at Cordell, Okla.
    Surviving are his widow and two sons, Earl Wyer Jr., Los Gatos, Calif and Lester Wyer, Twin Falls; three  daughters, Mrs. Eloise Williams, San Diego, Calif. and Mrs. Jeannie Matthews, Hayward, Calif. and Mrs. Gloria Eberlein, Boise and two brothers, five sisters and seven grandchildren.
