This family is just speculation on my part. But because they lived right next to John and Martha Tipton and their children are named John and Martha, it is my belief that he is their son. Joseph Tipton married Melvina Davis. It is listed in the Blount County Tennesee Marriage records. More research is needed.

At this time, there is no hard proof that Martha was a child to John and Martha Cusick. However, John Tipton did mention Andrew C. Rogers heirs in his will. It does appear that Martha and Willoby lived very close to John and Martha in the 1850 census. A Martha Tipton did marry Willoby Rogers in 1849. So until more research is done, I will place Martha here.
