Edward TIPTON

    Edward cames to America on the "Ship Friendship" in 1688.
    This Edward went to Northumberland County, Virginia on the above name ship in 1688, probably as " a servant" to pay for his passage over. His "rights for servitude" were proven 2 November, 1674.
    Returned to Pontesbury, England in 1700, where he married Judith soon after.
    He is a direct ancester of Lydia Mary (Kitty) Tipton Stubbs, of Wistow, Farnham Lane, Haslemere, Surrey England, From whom came the Tipton Pedigree.
