James and Rachel Wood Scarborough settled along Indian Creek, a branch of New River, in Greenbrier Co., VA (Now Monroe Co., WVA). He was one of the first trustees of Rehobeth Methodist Chruch, 2 miles from Union, Monroe Co., VA. (Now West Virginia).

Benjamin was a minister. Robert was a famer and in 1737 sold 157 acres of the farm in Solebury Township, Bucks Co., PA, which he had inherited from hsi father, and moved to 5 miles southwest of persent New Market, Orange (now Shenandoah) County, VA. He had 400 acres on both sides of Smith's Creek, joining Absalom Haworth's land. In 1737 he moed to Winchester, VA, and in 1747/50 moved to Bedford Co., VA. Robert and several of his younger children moved to Greenbrier Co., VA, and he is believed to have died there in 1805. He was a Quaker with membership at Hopewell MM, Frederick Co, VA.
