Obituary
    The Deceased was married to John W. Tipton Jun 20th 1848 at Middletown, Guernwsey County, Ohio. To this Union the following children were:
    Ferd and Weston, both deceased; W. E. Tipton.. Charles.. Frank.. Edward.. John W.... Mrs. M. C. Grimes... and Mrs. E. M. Knox... Six years after their marriage they moved to town of Olive, where they resided about seven years and when move to Caldwell. For a good many years.
    Mr. Tipton, her husband, was one of the leading merchants of Noble County. Her husband, the venerable John W. Tipton, Sr. survives. The deceased was a consistent member of the M. E. church at this place. She was gently laid to rest in the Olive Cemetery.
