Harry was the 3rd child of Carries Reed and Frank Haymaker. He was born on a farm and attened scholl at Leanna and Pitsburg, and Iola, Kansas. He worked at a Cement Plant at Iola. After marriage he moved to South Bend, Indiana on 17 April 1917. He work at Singer and at Studebaker Mfg. Company and retired in 1956.

Glen attend scholl at the county seat. He worked for a baber to pay for his room and board from the age of thirteen to seventeen. At 17 he went to work on a banana boat in New Orleans for the summer. The next two summers he worked on the Boblo Boat in Detroit. During the school year he went to the Lawrence Institute of Technology in Kansas. In 1922 Glenn moved to Detroit where he worked as an estimator and supervisor for a contractor. He married Besse in 1922. Glenn Pritchard was born in 1924.
they lived in Detroit for seven years, then moved to the Walled Lake ares where Glenn Roy operated asaw mill. In 1930 Glenn bought his own portable saw mill and they moved to Milford, Michigan. During this time besse was teaching scholl at Holcomg Elementary school in Detroit. They operated the saw mill until 1950 when Glenn died. Glenn Roy spent summers working with the saw mill in the Rogers City area where the family still has property on the shore of Lake Huron. When Glenn P. was 13 they built a log cabin there which was sold when it became difficult for Besse to live there. However the lot next to the cabin still belongs to Glenn P.
