Laurent was a Teamster.    Loraut Cyr spelled on marriage license.

Elmire Azilda LUSSIER\LUCIER

Henry Lucier said she was born at Chatham, Ontario.  She was baptized 3 May 1879 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception at Paincourt, Kent, Ontario, Canada.  Her sponsors were Joseph Maillet and Marie Emery.

Esmarilda was known as Mary, by 1884. Her cousin, Henry, called her Esmarilda.  When she died, her informant was Mrs. W. Baylor.  Mary was 71 years of age when she died.  She was buried on Oct 9, 1950, at the Frenchtown Cemetery.  It is written on the tombstone that her birth year was 1888, but we found her birth as 2 May 1879.(?)

    Mary CyrSerb, St. Ignatious, Montana.  Requiem High Mass will be sung foe Mary Cyr Serb at Arlee Catholic Church, Monday at 9 A.M. with Rev. Leonard Burns as Celebrant.  Rev. John O'Brien will officiate at the grave side rites in the Frenchtown Cemetery.  Rosary will be recited at St. Ignatious Catholic Church.  The body will lie in state at the Fearon Chapel until Monday.

    Mrs. Serb died Thursday evening at the local hospital after a lingering illness.  She has been a resident of Arlee for 40 years.  She is survived by four daughters, three sons and one brother.
