Barbara's info was received about a letter from Mr. Lenzen, 3033 N.E. 35 th Ave., Portland, OR. to a Marcel Lussier, of Brossard, PQ, Canada. Donna has a newspaper picture of Mr. Lenzen's daughter, ?, when she was the Queen of the Champoeg Celebrations.

Etienne Lussier was pensioned off from the Hudson's Bay Company and settled in Oregon for a shorttime before moving to St. Paul. He is known in Oregon for having cast the deciding vote for Oregon Statehood in 1859. (Making Oregon a Territorial Government, thus enabling it to go on to Statehood!)
Note: Etienne Lucier, trapper to the Washington Territory.
He was christened 23 Nov 1808, at St. Philippe, LaPrairie, Quebec, Canada.
