This data may very well help clear up a problem in the Randall Research. The father of our emmigrant, John Randall, in the printed genealogies has been listed as Mathew Randall (Alderman and Mayor of Bath, Eng.) b. 1571, and John's birthdate is given as 28 May 1609. (Evidently this was his uncle) This Mathew would be the son of the Mayor of Bath and an older brother to the John Randall b. 1609.
Further research will be needed to establish the wife of Mathew Randall, Jr. and also if there are other children in this family.
Mathew Randall, Sr.'s will mentions "Elizabeth - my now wife" and some sources name Elizabeth Moorsford as a second or third wife of Mathew Sr. instead of the second wife of Mathew Jr. as attributed in the data above.
The Randall Clipping book, back of page 4 found in the LDS Genealogy Library, Mesa, AZ states: " John Randall, b. 28 May 1609 and was born 28 May 1629; therefore, was the grandson of Mathew Randall, the Mayor of Bath, and his first wife, Agness Cullen.after the death of his first wife, m. 2nd elizabeth Moorsford, 13 aug 1635
