  Mr. and Mrs. Verd Crouch received a message from Charles Hiatt of Omaha
Friday stating that Mrs. Crouch's sister, Belle Hiatt had undergone an
operation for appendicitis and was in a serious condition.  Mr. and Mrs. Crouch left on the next train for her bedside.  At this writing, she is no better.
  11-29-1907  Verd Crouch and wife returned from Omaha, leaving her sister
doing fine.
