OBITUARY

  Mrs. William T. Faulkner

   Lottie neal Trask was born Sept. 26, 1868 in Shannon County, Missour, and departed this life April 16, 1950, at the home near Vermillion, Kansas, aged 81 years, 6 months and 21 days.

   She became a member of the Birch Valley Baptist Chruch of Birch Tree, Missoui, when a young woman of which she was a faithful member.  On Jan 3, 1891, she united in marriage with William Thomas Faulkner. To this union were born seven children.  The husband pre preceded her in death in 1907.

   In the spring of 1919 the family moved to Vermillion and came to Axtell Community in 1922.

  She is survived by the following children:  Bertha and Rutherford of the home; Fred of Marysville; Mrs. Ethel Larrew of Popular Bluff, Missouri; yelton and Mrs. Evelyn Marcy of Vermillion adn Mrs. Willa Temple, Aztell  16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; six half brothers, John and Marion Trask, Steelville, Missoui; George and Luther Trask, Springfield, Missiouri; Spain Trask, St. Louis, Missioiuri;  Also two half sisters, Mrs. Eva Brown, St. Louis, Missouri; Mrs. Artie Showalater, Steelville, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends.

    Funeral service was held at the Presbyterian church in Axtell at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, teh Rev. Forrest Grimm, Marysville, officiating.  Elsie Rothfelder and J. W. Bigalow sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "Going Down the VAlley One by One."  Paul Landreth was the organist.  Internment was made in the Baileyville Cemtery.  Pall bearers were Ernest Van Verth, Otto Geren, Chas. Shaughnessy, Steve Glynn, James White and Les Fairfield.  The Smith Funeral home was in charge.
