On 1 June, 1687, Robert Taliaferro, Jr. gave bond for the estate of Robert Taliaferro, deceased. An alternative marriage date is before April 6, 1687, Essex, VA. Robert lived at "Church Neck," Essex County, VA.

Wm. & Mary Quarterly, Vol. 20, p. 266 et seq..."Robert Taliaferro Junior and Francis Taliaferro, with their wives, Sarah and Elizabeth, sold 300 acres of land in Essex County in 1687 which was part of the land bequeathed to the said Sarah and Elizabeth by their father, John Catlett..." In 1688 both Francis and John Taliaferro gave bond for Mrs. Sarah Taliaferro, widow of their brother Robert.
