Sarah WORTHINGTON

Sarah received 2 negroes at the age of 16 or marriage. After the negtiation of this will a 5th child was born who received the name Charles, but died soon afterwards. Six months after the death of Capt. Worthington a 6th & posthumous child was born who was also given the name of Charles. Inasmuch as he did not share in his father's esata, his stepfather provived for him rather generously in his will a few years later."
