Death: May 28, 2003 Clemmons Forsyth County North Carolina, USAMr. William Moir Delionback, 90, of Winston-Salem, formerly of Ararat, Va., the widower of Mrs. Lizzie Marshall Delionback, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Meadowbrook Manor in Clemmons. Mr. Delionback was born Aug. 3, 1912, in Patrick County to Ed and Serelda Wilson Delionback. He served our country during World War II in the U.S. Army and was a member of Hunters Chapel Church. Surviving are a daughter, Glenda Sapp of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Tara Martin of King and Trey Martin and wife Candy of Maiden. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Delionback was preceded in death by two sisters, Angie Delionback and Mae Jessup; and three brothers, Charlie Delionback, Harry Delionback and Johnny Delionback. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2003, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Chaplain Thurmond Midkiff. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery, with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Honor Guard, Mount Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436. Death: May 28, 2000The Enterprise, Stuart, VA-May 31, 2000 Florence Lizzie Marshall Delionback, 86, of Ararat, died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Patrick County on September 5, 1913, and was a daughter of the late Arnold and Lillie Smith Marshall. She was also preceded in death a sister, Katie Hiatt; and four brothers, Protch, Wyse, Herbert and Roscoe Marshall. She was retired and was a member of Hunter's Chapel Church. Surviving are her husband, Moir Delionback of the home; one daughter, Glenda Sapp of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home chapel in Mount Airy, N.C., by the Rev. Luther McCann. Burial was in Oakdale Cemetery.
