Obituary
Victor J. Thompson, age 47 of Chatfield passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 3rd at Fairhaven Community of Upper Sandusky.
He was born in Marion as the son of the late Marvin L. and Carol (Hennessee) Thompson. He married Cheryl Wright and she survives him at home.
Victor was a graduate of Marion Harding High School, he was employed by the TODCO Overhead Door Company of Marion. He loved to fish, worked on cars, played Euchre and pool.
Besides his wife, Victor leaves behind his son Bryan Thompson of Caledonia, two stepsons Mathew Johnson of Marion and Jeremiah Johnson of Tiffin, three grandchildren, mother and stepfather Carol & Mark Kennedy of Caledonia, and brother Terry Thompson of Marion, one sister Valerie Brewer of Upper Sandusky, and one stepsister Kelly Kennedy of Marion. Victor was preceded in death by his father and two brothers Vincent and Vernon Thompson.
Funeral services for Victor J. Thompson will conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday October 6th at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Minister Jon Lanier officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 - 4.

UPPER SANDUSKY - Vernon Eugene Thompson, age 39, of Marseilles Avenue, Upper Sandusky, formerly of Marion, passed away Monday morning, Aug. 14, 2006, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky after a long struggle with Huntington-Chorea Disease.
Vernon was born on Aug. 7, 1966, in Marion, the son of the late Marvin L. Thompson and Carol Hennessee Kennedy of Caledonia.
He was a graduate of Tri-Rivers Vocational School and a former employee of Abbott Manufacturing. He enjoyed country music, fishing trips and playing pool.
Besides his mother, Vernon is survived by his stepfather, Mark Kennedy of Caledonia; his three sons and their mother, C.J. Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Justin Thompson and Elizabeth Foreman of Marion; his brothers, Vincent Thompson, Victor and Terry Thompson of Marion; a sister, Valerie Brewer of Upper Sandusky; and two stepsisters, Kelly Kennedy of Marion and Alexandra McComas of Caledonia.A graveside inurnment service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today, Aug. 16, 2006, at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington-Chorea Research Foundation.
