     Fowler Hott had literary talent.  It is said that Fowler Hott, John Cowgill, Martha and Ellen Kidwell, cousins, used to get together and compose poetry by the hour, songs, hymns, etc.  Mr. Hott was a builder and carpenter.
    In Capon Valley, Its Pioneers and Their Descendants, by Maud Pugh on pages 122-23.
    He married Sallie Shanholtzer, a beautiful woman of the blond type.  They later moved to Paw Paw, W. Va. and still later to Cumberland, Md.
