Anna Rebecca Dunagan, 71, of Blossom, died Friday, Oct. 9, 1998, in Dallas. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct services at 11 a.m. Monday in the First United Methodist Church of Blossom with the Rev. Thomas Buck officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Honor Cemetery. The family will receive friends at her home from 6-8 p.m. today. Mrs. Dunagan was born Oct. 17, 1926, in Lamar Countv, to Hammond and Elsie Holley Abels. She graduated from Blossom and attended Paris Junior College. On Dec. 19, 1945, she married Jimmy Dunagan of Blossom. He died Dec. 30, 1982. She was a member of the Blossom United Methodist Church and a former member of the Blossom Garden Club and the Women's Society of Christian Service. Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth 'Liz' and Phil Williams of Blossom; three sons and daughters-in-law, James H. and Sharon Dunagan and John S. and Donna Dunagan, all of Blossom, and Scott and Melissa Dunagan of Paris; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; an uncle, J. W. Abels of Paris; a sister-in-law, Grace Dunagan of Brownsville and a nephew, Charles Dunagan, and his wife, Karen, of Angleton. Pallbearers are tobe Chad Nations, Mark Dunagan, Charles Dunagan, Michael Sessums, Harold Blackburn, Tom Watson, Bill Huml and James Crawford.
