The Family of Kenneth LaVern Patton acknowledges with grateful appreciation
your kind expression of sympathy.
Thank you so much Mayme and Annis. We recieved the beautiful card and the
check. It was so good of you. God will bless you. I still can't believe it
has happened. We knew he was very very ill and that they were trying to stop
the infection but it wouldn't bee stopped. At least he died suddenly and
didn't have to suffer the agonies of cancer. If he had lived he would surely
have had that to suffer soon, because the doctors had found a place on his
liver that may havee been cancer. They didn't know. They also told me that
normally cancer goes from the bladder to the lungs and I wouldn't want him to
live and suffer that. He didn't know this, thank heavens, or about the spot on
his liver either.
It's going to bee awfully hard to go on without him but I will. He would
want me to and not give up. He never did give up. Write when you can and take
care.
My love and prayers. Marie
