Irving Beecham Hiett received his education in the public shools of Toledo. Joined with his father in the real estate business and in 1883 opened his own real estate office. In l907 formed the Irving B. Hiett Co. which soon became one of the leading real estate firms of Toledo.
He was identified with several other commercial business interests in Toledo. Was one of the organizers of the Toledo Real Estate Board of which he became its first president. In l921 and l922 he served as president of the National Association of Real Estate Boards. Served on various national committees as an advisor on real estate and housing. Has contributed in a large measure to the growth and development of Toledo. (R112).
