George Wilson Released from the Hospital
Frank T. Wilson received the following letter from the navy department at
Washington:
August 6, 1917
Sir: The American Consul at Saloniki, Greece, has sent advices date July
28th, 1917, that your son, George Wilson, a gunner on the S.S. Grace, has been
released from the hospital in which he was placed for treatment. He will be
sent to Marseilles as soon as conditions permit and as the Bureau of Navigation
expedites the return of all survivors of steamships which have been sunk, he
will be returned to the United States, as soon as arrangements can be
completed. Respectfully,

Census. Thomas was listed as a Hotel Keeper.

Farmed in Pott. Co., for years. Retired before death 22 years. Beldon
post No. 59 GAR member since 1861-1865, St. Pat. Church

There was a John C. Wilson at courthouse, died about 1914 with a wife named Sarah.
There were several Wilson's at Court House but not John C.
Checked Library in O'Neil but didn't have Newspaper didn't have 4 Feb 1885 found 1885. But coudn't find John. Need to check at Kinson for Old papers.
Charles Wilson was close to same age was there don't know is son or
brother. There were several Wilson's who could of been related.

Wilson land, then moved to Mo. They had 8 boys 4 fought on the side of South 4 on North. Carpet Baggers ran them out of Mo. they went to Atkinson Nebr,
farmed for about a year grass hoppers ate everything. John couldn't handle it and just died. Martha moved back to Mo. Valley, Iowa to live with son Thomas and Josephine. Was buried by them in Old town Cem.
Zahner's came from Germany to Switzerland.
Cal went to Oklahoma, returned when Cyranius was ill.
