My father, Robert O. Marshall, recieved a gold headed cane left to him by his
grandfather, Dr. Joseph Marshall, the cane was given to him, when he retired,
by his patients. A note on the cane said that over 300 people came to a part
or picnic when they gave him the cane. It has an inscription on the gold part
of the cane.
