Jesse Soar TAYLOR

Taylor school in Payson is named for Jesse.  He came to Utah at the age of 11.  He hlelped establish free schools in Payson, and he stated afterward that Payson was the first community in the territory to have free schools,  He was bishop of Payson 2nd Ward from 1901 until 1909.
