We have two different death dates for Charles Reneau 1822 &1828

Also two different sealings, the other 14 Oct 1953 to hisparents.

The family group sheet with the sealings on was obtained from thearchives of
GSU and listed Alma LeRoy Means, 361 So. 9th E., SLC.  It showed MelvinAustin
Bryant as heir.

The second group sheet was also obtained from the GSU Archives andsubmitted by
Jerald Mason, 8725 NW Marshall, Portland, Oregon.  Had not record ofsealings
on it. Under "Sources of Information", it lists Guy B. Reno, 1219Chelsea,
Rockford, Ill. Under "Necessary Explanations", it reads that wife Alicehad an
uncle Col. John Tipton, her g father was JohnathanTipton

MARRIAGE: We have two dates of marriage for Charles Reneau and AliceElizabeth Tipton - 1June 1771 from Family Group Sheet submitted byJennings Donell Means.  The group sheet are her parents and family

She married  Charles Reneau in 1772 as per marriage Certificate, Shenandoah County, Virginia Marriage Bonds 1772-1850 page 355  Copy test W. E. Ellifrits Clerk  Circuit Court of Shenandoah County, Virginia .

Alice Elizabeth Tipton had an uncle Col. John Tipton, her g father wasJonathan
