of Cambridge Univ. A Roman Catholic, he refused to proclaim Queen Mary soverign
over England, she was imprisoned in Tower of London.  Bishop of London 1570.
One of the translators of the Bishop's Bible.

ironworks, in VA. Printed various religious works and scriptures, including
translation of Ovid.
