Mordecai PRICE

    Mordecai Price was a Quaker.    See Land Records, Book C. W. I, pg. 47 and Testamentary Proceedings Book 23, Pg. 20.


Mary PARSONS

    The will of Mary Price refers to her mother as Isabel Capell.  Benjamin Capell of Anne Arundel County, Will May 9, 1711, refers to his wife Isabel and names Mordecai Price as a residuary legatee.  Isabel had married Benjamin Capell as her second husband.


Thomas PARSONS

Thomas left a will dated October 10, 1683 and proved May term of Court 1684.  (See Book 4 p. 28, Land Office, Annapolis, MD., or Vol. 3, MD Calender of Wills, pg 128.)  He made bequests to wife, Isabella, to daughters:  Elizabeth, Isabel, Sarah and Hannah.  To daughters, Mary and Susannah "My plantation after their mother's death."  He had resided in Accomac County, VA and in Elizabeth City County, VA before taking up residence in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  His land patent was called "Friendship and Greenwood" -- a parcel he acquired in 1663.  Isabella, wife of Thomas Parsons, died in 1717.  She named first her daughter Mary Price her residuray legatee and made her execurtrix.  (Will Book 6 P. 442, Annapolis, MD)  This Mary married Mordecai Price and had a daughter Hannah who married William Tipton.

Thomas PRICE Imm.

    Thomas Price, Immigrant, was born about 1610 and died August 23, 1701.  He came to the New World in the "Ark and Dove" having sailed from Cowes, England, November 22, 1633.  He stopped first in Virginia and arrived on St. Clement's Island on March 25, 1634 (some say Kent Island).  He married Elizabeth, daughter of Robert Phillips of Calvert County, Maryland, who was a member of the Common Council 1694.  He and Elizabeth had several chidlren, the known names are:  as recorded.  He came to the new world in the "Ark and Dove" sailed from Cowes, England, Nov 22 1633.
