Everett L. Stanford
Klamatha Falls, Oregon. Former area resident Everett L. Stanford died
March 4 in Klamath Falls; he was 75.
He ws born Dec 23, 1917 in Enterprise, Ore. He married Helen E. Woods Oct
30, 1941 in Lewiston, Idaho.
He recieved a bachelor's degree in education in 1962 and a master's in
1963. He taught high school at Elgin High School and Union High School until
retiring in 1980.
He moved to Klamath Falls July 1, 1992 to be closer to his daughter. He
enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and working on cars.
He was a member of the Milton-Freewater Masonic Lodge, the American Legion,
the Education Association and the Retired Teachers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Helen E., at home, daughter and a son in law,
Sharon and Rob Quackenbush, Klamath Falls; and two granddaughters, Christina
and Lynn Barstad, both of Klamath Falls.
He was preceded in death by a son, Taylor Lynn, in 1944.
Funeral services were held March 8 in Klamath Memorial Park Chapel.
Burial was in Klamath Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Stewart
Lennox Volunteer Fire Department.
