Her middle name probably is for her mother's sister miriam who died as a child.  She was a professor at Oregon State Univ. and in Santa Barbara, Ca.  While at OSU she worked with fruit growers in Hood River to try to develop value added products.  The Marishino Cherry was developed by her group.  never married.  Came back to Echo and ran the Echo cash grocery on Main St. in the building that was the old Teel school building.  It had been moved from her grandfather's place into town. Blonde hair, short, about 5'2" busty, fair complexion

he died of meningitis. I have the pillow cover from his pillow which grandma berry's mom gave her.  Grandma berry grieved for her brother all of her life and would often talk of it. Elmer was named for his father and her son Elmer was named for both
