Paul TESSIER

Tanguay's Dictionairre Vol. 1, Page 562 and Vol. 7, page 273-274.  Paul Tessier/ Bessier and Jeanne Amiot are supposed to be Marie Catherine's parents, according to the records that we could find.  We shall continue to check on this.  I'm sure that these are our relatives.

Marriage was listed as St. Francois de Dales de Neuville, Portneuf, Quebec, Canada.
One had their marriage date as 26 Feb., 1690/91.
One had the birth date as Feb. 26, 1691.
One had the death date as Mar. 4, 1743/44.
I think these must have been the christening date and the interment dates.

Paul was listed as being of Quebec, Quebec, Canada.  Not sure about his birthplace.  He was a Captain De Milices de Chateauguay, or a Captain in the local vigilante group.

Also known as Amiot dit Villeneuve.  Paul Tessier and Jeanne Amiot are the probable parents of Marie Catherine, according to the records we have found.  Tanguat's Dictionarres Vol. 1, Page 562 and Vol. 7, Page 273-274.

Jeanne was christened on 24 Nov. 1670, Quebec, Quebec, Canada.
