Margaret M Sawyer. To this union was born six sons and one daughter:
Cecil G Teeter, Bethesda, MD; Clare L Teeter, Emmetsburg, IA; Robert D
Teeter, Hillsboro, IL: William R Teeter, Pico Rivera, CA: Truman D Teeter,
Altadena, CA; James W Teeter. Logan, UT and Dorothy M Teeter, Minneapolis,
MN. Five grandchildren; Steven, Marilyn and Patricia of Bethesda; Brian
and Deborah of Emmetsburg.>>Glenn has always made his home in La Porte
City except what time he was away during World War I. He was active in
church and served on the official board. He was a charter member of the
American Legion and a Past Post Commander. Contd in Buried Note>>>Died at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, IA, after being admitted on 11
August following a heart attack while at work. He was stabilized and
remained so for two days, but succumbed to acute coronary thrombosis
about 6:00 a.m. on 14 Aug 1962. Death Certificate No. 657, dated 16 Aug
1962, filed with County Registrar, Vital Statistics, Black Hawk County
Court House, Waterloo, IA. He was 67 years 11 months 25 days of age.

Margaret Matilda Sawyer, one of 12 children, was born on 30 Apr 1900 Her
parents, William and Eva (Longaker) Sawyer made their home in Spring Creek
Township near La Porte City where Margaret received her education.
