totaled 1100 acres, all on the north side of the Patapsco River, near
Buzzard's Island, in St. Mary's County, Maryland. He was a High Commissioner of the Provincial Court, held at Patuxent on
March 31st, 1656. Later land records show that he owned land on the
Patuxent River.(2) Thomas Thomas made a will on December 28th, 1670, it was later proved on

James Kidwell, Jr. is not named in his father's will, but he did sign the
Inventory, as did William Kidwell. Since only one parcel of land was
bequeathed (38 acred to son John), and all else was personal property, it would
appear James Jr, was provided for before his fathers death.
