Historical Notes:
(1) William Bush was a celebrated Indiand fighter and a friend of Daniel Boone,
as so stated on his tombstone.He is shown in various Boonesborough Kentucky information. He arrived there
at the initiation of the fort construction in 1775. Later he and four brothers,
and one sister fomred the Bush settlement near the fort, but across the
Kentucky River in Clark County.
