From HGDA, doc r-45-2, pp 755:" Pierre Richard de Beaupre 1686, son of Rene and Madeleine Landry, married at Port-Royal, January 26, 1712, to Madeleine
Girouard, daughter of Jacques and Marguerite Gauterot. Children: Pierre, 1713;  Charles, 1715; Joseph, 1717; Marie-Madeleine, 1718; Anne, 1720; Simon, 1721;  Jean-Baptiste, 1724; Amand, 1726; Francois, 1727; Claude, 1730. He was buried at Port-Royal on 21 April 1730."

deceased Marie Girouard married at Port Royal in 1709 were born at the said
place the following;

Pierre Richard forty four year old inhabitant of this parish after having
received the sacrament of Extreme Unction."

From Doc R-115-2, ACR, v 3, page 112:"January 26, 1712 Marriage Pierre Richard son of the deceased Rene Richard and Magdelaine Landry to Magdelaine Girouard daughter of the deceased Jacques Girouard and Marguerite Gautrot."

From Doc R-128-1, ACFR2, page 18:"On February 9, 1767 appeared Pierre Richard
of the village of Kbellec in this parish .... declared that he was born at Port Royal, principal city of Acadia, November 15, 1710 (Note: his dates seem 3 yrs off - RON), of Pierre Richard and Magdeleine Girouard. Pierre Richard, father of the declarant, died at Port Royal in 1726, brother of Rene Richard and Magdelaine Landry, both of whom died at the said place."

came from Saintonge, arrived in Acadia with the Expedition of Emmanuel
LeBorgne and Guilbault, in 1652 or the year before, with the Sire of Saint-Mas, the representive of LeBorgne; married, around 1656, Madeleine Blanchard, daughter of Jean and Radegonde Lambert, and, a second time, around 1683, to Jeanne Babin, daughter of Antoine and Marie Mercier. Children of the first marriage: Rene, 1657; Pierre, 1661; Catherine, 1663; Martin, 1665; Alexandre, 1668; Anne and Madeleine, 1670; Marie, 1674; Cecile, 1676; Marguerite, 1679.

Children of the second marriage: Michel, 1684; Alexandre, 1686. He was dead
around 1687; his widow married Laurent Doucet, son of Germain and Marie
Landry."

girls. Boys: Rene, 22; Pierre, 19; Matin, 13; Alexandre, 10. Girls: Anne, 8,
Marguerite, 8, unknown, 6; Marie, 3; Cecile, 1.

From AGE, Vol XX, # 1, page 27,"Notes to Accompany the Plan of the River of
Annapolis Royal,", prepared by Mr. Placide Gaudet, Genealogist to the Public
Archives of Canada, Notes to be inserted on the South side of the plan of
Annapolis River:"35. Beaupre - This village was founded by Rene Richard, who
was born at Port Royal in 1658. He was the eldest son of Michel Richard, a
native of France, and Madeleine Blanchard of Acadie. Rene Richard married in
1689 at Port Royal, Madeleine Landry and his sons took the surname of Beaupre."

See AGE, vol XX, # 3, page 76:"Rene Richard b. ca. 1657 (1671 & 1686 Census of Port Royal) m. ca. 1680 at Port Royal (age of Children taken from the 1686
census) Madeleine Landry d/o Rene and Perine Bourg (1671 Census and Arsenault
page 612)(Rieder V3-p112)(Rieder 3#-p114)(Arsenault stated that Rene Richard
died ca 1690 and he is not shown on the 1714 Census of Acadie)."On Vol. 7, Tree # 1863, it says that Rene was born in Colequit, Acadia.

The 1671 census for Port Royal lists Rene Richard as living with his parents and aged 14 years.  He is listed on the 1678 census as living with his parents and aged 22 years.  The 1686 census for Port Royal lists Rene Richard, his wife, Magdelaine Landry, with 2 sons & 1 daughter.  The 1714 census for Grand Pre lists Rene Richard with his wife, 1 son and 1 daughter.  Rene Richard dit Beaupre.

Rene was buried at Port Royal, Acadie, Nova Scotia, Canada.


Madeleine LANDRY

From Doc L-50-1, HGDA, pp 613:"Madeleine Landry, 1656, daughter of Rene and
Perrine Bourg, wed Rene Richard, sieur Beaupre, son of Michel and Madeleine
Blanchard, and the second time, Pierre Dupuis, son of Michel and Marie
Gauterot."

(b. 1645) in 1672, the daughter of Jean Blanchard and Radegonde Lambert and
widow of Francois Guerin"

Denis and Martine Gauthier, married around 1672 Anne Blanchard, daughter of
Jean and Radegonde Lambert, widow of Francois Guerin. Children: Bernard, 1673;
Pierre, 1675; Claude, 1677; Abraham, 1679; Marie and Madeleine, 1682; Jeanne,
1684; Augustine, 1686; Jean, 1690; Jean baptiste, 1692. In 1714 he was living
at Beaubassin, at the house of one of his sons."

Guillaune Belloni HEBERT

family from "Acadian Descendents" by Jehn 1972 Gen 971.6 J on page 71 we find:
"Guillaume Belloni Hebert, son of Etienne, was born in 1773 (vol III says 1772)
in France. He married Marianne Dantin, born 1773 in France. They were married
at Donaldsonville, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Louis Dantin, born 1745
in France, and of Jeanne Guesnier (Gemmier), also born in France in 1745.

Etienne HEBERT

from "Acadian Descendents" by Jehn page 71 1972:"in 1741 Etienne, a seaman,
married Marianne Labergne (Lavergne) , born in 1731, and lived at
Chattelerault.
They ...arrived together in Louisiana on the Carolina in 1785.
After the British overtook Acadia, Etienne and his family left Isle Royale for
Nantes on the second convoy for Nantes in 1775..
In 1785 they were recorded on the ship L'AMITE leaving for the states. Etienne
apparently was widowed before coming to the U.S. since his wife was listed on
the passenger list as Madeleine Brod, age 36. The following children arrived
with them: Louis, age 15; Guillaume, age 12... and Marie Madeline, nursing
infant daughter, Marie Hebert, daughter of this couple was confirmed in
Louisiana at Lafource in 1800 (sponsor: Marguerite Breaux (Brod, Braud)

Louis DANTIN

Jeanne Guesnier (Gemmier) begins one of several lines of our Hebert and Pitre
families.
Louis Dantin was born 1702 in Paris, France, and lived at Isle Royale, in
Acadia. He married Marguerite Lasande at Port Toulouse. Their childen were...
In the book by Milton and Norma Gaudet Rieder, THE ACADIAN'S IN FRANCE (1967),
the general roll of the inhabitants of Isle Royale and Isle St. Jean shows:
Louis Dantin, 18 years old. This was for the year 1762. By 1772, Louis, Listed
as cabinet maker of St. Malo, France, and his wife Jeanne, also of St. Malo,
and their two children... On December 7,1775 on the third convoy leaving
Chattelerault for Nantes were Louis Dantin, carpenter, and his wife, age 30,
along with their children...
Among the crew and passengers of the ship L'AMITE leaving for the States from
France during the seven Acadian expeditions were Louis, listed as a joiner;
Elaine Aucoin, age 37, his wife (apparently he had re-married during this
interval) and children.
