Marie-Rosalie, 1771; Pierre, 1774; Joseph, 1775; Marguerite, 177; Pierre, 1779.
In 1777, the widow of Jacques Melancon (Marguerite Broussard) lived with him,
also his son Oliver Part and Francois d'Amours, an orphan."
from La Genealogical Register Vol IX #1 March 1962, there was a Pierre Part and
an Oliver Part in the Militia of the Acadia Coast roster, First Company
1/23/1770 and First Company 1770 - see Parr Folder
in the first roster he is listed as single, in the second he is listed as
married. both times he is listed as Acadia

Pierre PART

from HGDA, doc P-46-1, pp 2565:"Pierre Part, born in 1709, son of Pierre and
Jeanne Dugas, of Port-Royal, without doubt married at Saint-James around 1735,
to Angelique Godin, daughter of Gabriel and Andree-Angelique Joannes, of
Beaubassin, who lived at Saint-Jean at this time. Children: Joseph, 1741;
Oliver, 1746; Pierre, 1750; Marie, 1751. In 1766 he and his wife were deceased.
Their four children lived at Saint James upon the Mississippi. An orphan,
Francois Part, born in 1752, lived with them."


Angelique GODIN

from TLL, v5 Doc P-56-9, pp 21:"In a publication, I believe titled 'Past &
Present' author unknown. It is stated that an Angelique Godin, daughter of
Godin and Angelique Cochon married Pierre Part III. I cannot find where Gabriel
had a daughter by that name, but his brother Pierre who married a Cochon had a
daughter by the name of Angelique."

Daniel LEBLANC

From FCAG Vol IV #1 Spring 1972:"Daniel Leblanc, born in 1626, in France, came to Acadia in 1650, and settled on the north shore of the river of Port-Royal (at present, the Annapolis River), to the north-east of the Belisle marshes, about nine miles above the Fort Port-Royal, and a half mile below the St-Lawrence Chapel, where he died between the years 1693 and 1698.

Daniel LeBlanc was one of the notables at Port-Royal and when, on May 24, 1690 (N.S.), Sir William Phipps, who had just taken possession of the stronghold, required on the part of the inhabitants of Port-Royal and of those on the river of the same name, that they chose 6 from among themselves to form a council in order to keep the peace among them and to administer justice there, Daniel LeBlanc was one of those on whom the choice fell."

Daniel LeBlanc and Francoise Godet 12 cattle & 12 acres with son Antoine 17
and son Pierre 17 from AGE, Vol XX, # 1, page 26,"Notes to Accompany the Plan of the River of Annapolis Royal,", prepared by Mr. Placide Gaudet, Genealogist to the Public Archives of Canada:"19.

Daniel LeBlanc, born in France in 1626, came to Acadia with Francois Gaudet, his wife in 1650, and settled on the north-east of Belisle Marsh about nine miles above the fort. Le 1698, leaving six sons, four of whom settled at Mines Basin about 1687. One of his sons became a mariner, and the youngest son, Pierre, born in 1664, succeeded to the estate of his father.

Pierre LeBlanc died November 4, 1717, leaving eight children, the youngest of whom, named Charles, was born September 26, 1716, and died in Digby Co., September 30, 1805."

From Doc L-128-1, ACFR2, page 6:"Honere LeBlanc ... declared to me ... he was
the issue of Daniel LeBlanc who came from France with his second wife and Marie LeBlanc the daughter of his first marriage (dead without children) and the three of them went to Port Royal, chief place of Acadia, after the Tready of Breda on July 31, 1661.

   And from Daniel LeBlanc and his wife were born Rene LeBlanc, Jacques LeBlanc, Antoine LeBlanc, Pierre LeBlanc at Port Royal and from them, also was born Andre LeBlanc. The said Rene LeBlanc is deceased at Port Royal in the year 1732 and his wife in 1735. ...

Francoise GAUDET

From FCAG vol IV #1 Spring 1972:"Francoise Gaudet, born in 1623, in France, and was a widow when she married Daniel LeBlanc; she died at her son, Pierre
LeBlanc's house, between the years 1698-1700. From her marriage to Daniel
LeBlanc, Francoise Gaudet had seven children, six of whom were sons, namely:
Jacques, Etienne, Rene (father of the Notary), Andre, Antoine and Pierre. The
daughter was named Francoise and she married Martin Blanchard. Etienne became a navigator and left Acadia. As to the other five boys, they were all married in 1686, and in the course of this year or in 1687, four of them, that is:
Jacques, Rene, Andre and Antoine Left Port-Royal and established themselves in the Minas Basin, leaving with their father and mother only Pierre, who had just lost his first wife, named Marie Theriault."
