from HGDA, Doc B-50-7, pp 427-428:"Barthelemy Bergeron called d'Amboise, born
around 1664, orginally from d'Amboise, Inde-et-Loire, France, arrived in Canada
in 1685 as a Naval volunteer; lived at the farming-village of Quebec, from 1685
to 1690, at the house of Pierre Lezeau, petty-officer; accompanied Pierre
LeMoyne d'Iberville in most of his campaignes in Hudson Bay; arrived in Acadia
with Iberville, in 1696; married around 1695 Genevieve Serreau dit Saint-Aubin,
born in Quebec in 1667, daughter of Jean and Marguerite Boileau, widow of
Jacques Petitpas. Children: Marie-Joseph, around 1696; Barthelemy, around 1698;
Michel, 1702; Marie-Anne, 1706; Anne-Marie, 1707; Franocise, around 1708;
Joseph-Augustin, 1710. In 1704, he was captured with all the members of his
family during the attack of Colonel Church against Port Royal and taken away in
captivity to Boston where he was a hostage/prisoner-of-war. After he was freed,
he returned to Port Royal where he lived at the cape and was a sailor (il
Navigua pour son compte). Around 1730 he settled at Saint-Jean River, at New
Brunswick where he was one of the pioneers of Sainte-Anne-du-Pays-Bas, known
today as Fredericton."

1700 son of Gabriel Chiasson and Marie Savoie. They settled at Beaubassin and
were later deported to S. Carolina. Thier sons, Pierre and Paul settled in

Acadia, 1678" lists Pierre Vincent 15 cattle 8 acres 4 Boys:Thomas, 13; Michel, 11; Pierre, 9; unknown, 7. two girls: Huguette, 15; unknown, 10. The notes say Anne Gaudet died since 1671 and Pierre will die before 1686.

Annapolis River, by Mr. Placide Gaudet, Genealogist to the Public Archives of
Canada:"44. Pierre Vincent - This village was named after Pierre Vincent, born in France in 1631, and married at Port Royal in 1665 to Anne Gaudet, a native of Acadie. He died about 1677, leaving one daughter and four sons, of whom one died about the age of fifteen years. The remaining three married and had large families."
