Mahlon Henry DDS TEETER

    The family farm home was in Section 15.

    Following information is from various sources in family notes: Mahlon
Henry Teeter, DDS, died Jan 13, 1962, at Fifield Manor, Pasadena, CA,
where he had lived the last years of his life after retiring from his
dental practice in Glendale, CA.  Mahlon was born December 28, 1873, in
Spring Creek Twp, Black Hawk Co, IA, a son of Daniel B and Emeline (Clark)
Teeter, who settled there in 1852. Services were held at 3 pm Jan 17,
1962, at Forest Lawn in the Little Church of the Flowers, Glendale,
conducted by Rev Robert Bench, pastor of the First Congregational Church.
The Masonic Board of Pasadena for Burns Lodge No. 173 AF&AM, Monticello,
IA, conducted memorial services. Soloist John Lambert sang "Going Home"
and organist Robert E Crowley played Mahlon's favorites, "The Old Rugged
Cross", "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Abide With Me." Interment was
made beside his wife in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, CA. Cause of
death was diabetes and complications.   CGT/8/93.   Mahlon H. Teeter was going to dental school in Chicago in 1897, in 1951 he
was retired from dentistry in Glendale Ca.
