was born in what is now Dyer's Hill Precinct, Livingston County, KY., March
27, 1827 and is a son of Robert and Eliza (CALHOUN) HUEY.  The father was born
in what is now [1885] Fairfield District, SC in 1784...and about 1818 was
married to Miss Eliza [CALHOUN] ... To this union were born Ellen (who married
J. C. LOVE), and Maria (who married R. S. NUNN), and subject... subject is the
youngest of [these three children] and the only one of them now living..."
