Centennial Book of Lynch, Neb.
William Earl Haun was born near Idanville, Ind February 13, 1869. In 1891 he moved with his parents to Nebraska where he homesteaded northeast of Lynch.
Mrs. Earl Haun, who maiden name was Neva Hiatt, was born at Allen, Neb in
1872. In 1892 she left Allen and came to Lynch. They were married on 14 April 1894. To this union six children were born; Zeola, Cora, Mamie, John, Ray, Floyd, all of whom grew to adulthood in the Lynch community.
Mrs. Haun prededed Earl in death on Jul 17, 1934. For several years, Earl made his home with his children. In August 1938, he married Mrs. Abbie Nun of Weaubleau, Missouri. They made their home north of Lynch for two years and then moved to Missouri where they lived until his death in 1949.
Zeola Haun moved to Edgemont, So. Dakota where she married merle Roselius who worked for the power commpany.
Cora married Fred Jesser. They moved to the Twin Falls, Idaho area during the 1930's.
Mamie married Rec. Earl Wyer. She passed away suddenly at the age of 44
in Elk City, Oklahoma.
John married Ethel Alford of Lynch and resided in the Lynch and Spencer
communities. John passed away in 1948 while marooned in his truck during a
blizzard.
Ray married Larea Angus of Lynch, Rev. Haun was a Congregational minister and served churches in So. Dakota and Neb.
Floyd married Florence Heiser of Monowl. They resided in the Lynch and
Spencer Communities.
