David GASS

  In about 1733 David went to Virginia with his mother, Margaret, and the Woods and Wallace Families.
   He was in the Rev. War.  He was a judge, one of 30 axe men to help cut the Wilderness Raod in Yodkin Valley NC to KY.  Daniel Boone's family lived with David's family in 1773 in NC as Boone had trouble with the Indians.  He was in Boonesbouro, KY with Danile and probably in the Rev. War.


Jennie GASS

    Was killed by Indians on 20 Mar 1782 at Estill Station  She had a dream of a ladder to heaven and Indians killed her the next day and scalped her.


William GASS

   Never married.


William GASS

  I am not sure of this being the correct father? Had him also as possible son of Benjamine, son of John, but way off on that date for a child, maybe grandchild if this is the wrong connection.  Larry Anderson


Mary GASS

Resided in Lancaster Co., PA and in Albemarle Co., VA.


William BLACK

    David was a sherriff in Madison Co., Kentucky.  Said to be Scotch Irish.
