Bundy Hollow Cemetery
Travel West from Dayton on Highway 12 toward Walla Walla. Turn left on road 7 (by the outdoor theater). Just after you pass the theater the road veers to the right in back of the old school house. Proceed straight on up the hill following the road to a green mile post (3) where you turn hard left. (There is a house and barn on the road where you turn.) Continue on same road veering to the right at Bundy Hollow sign for 3.3 miles. Look up to the left for a big pine tree on the hill. Tree is part of the cemetery. Approximately 9 miles from the stop light in the center of Dayton.

Edington, Della, b. Apri 4, 1873, d. March 31, 1891.

1995 article in the Waitsburg (WA) Times recounts the 1890 murder of Della and the suicide of her suitor Henry Sanders.  Original article in the April 5, 1890 of the now defunct Dayton WA newspaper, the Inlander.  Revealed in a scrapbook inherited by Gordon Bateman of 809 E. Alder St, Walla Walla, WA.

The birth records in Napa County began in 1872 and are incomplete in the early years. We have copied the records to 1905 for our Library and the following information is in our records.

Edington (Female). Father - Jas. H. Edington.
Edington (Female). Father - Thos. Edington, Mother - Mary Stice.

There were no birth dates given for either of these.
