Isaac J. CHENOWETH

  From Brenda Hare, Internet, brenda-hare@cedar-rapids.net
The Harris book by Shirley Harris and written and published by her husband, Richard in 1994, is a well done book, extendign most of the groundwork laid out by Cara Hiatt.  Since it's publication, we have unraveled many of the old mistakes in both books.  But Cecilia's line, page 393, does not suffer from that problem.  Harris just has the Census listing, abt. 1824,.  I have not seen an actual date on her until your post.  Cecilia is not a common name within the family.  As I think I told you I have had 2 cousin contacts in Cecilia's line:  Linda Danke & Lawrence R. Hoover.  The best reseracher I have for Isaac J. is Mary Lou Von Bargen, Olympia, Washington.  She is from Catherine, the sister of Cecilia.
There is a thorny question over Isaac J.  As you probably know he is not in the gaurdianship papers for Isaac's children.  We believe that he was born some months after Isaac's death in Feb. 1792.  He was the last to leave the Berkely Co. area.  His siblings had proceeded to Pennsylvania and then to Ohio.  Best if you read the introduction page, also called inoformation page.
