Abraham FRETZ

Abraham and Elizabeth were listed in the Fretz Family History and Genealogy on page 99.

Jacob FRETZ

Jacob Fretz was buried in The Old Mennonite graveyard at Deep Run, Bedminster twp, in Bucks Co., Pennsylvania.

Jacob was a member of the Deep Run Mennonite Church.  He was a farmer.

About 1755, he was married to Catherine Nash.  They at first lived on a farm in Tinicum Twp., near Erwinna, later known as the Ervine place, he having sold it to a man named Ervine.  It afterwards came into the hands of the Stovers.  After he sold his farm near Erwinna, he purchased a farm in Bedminster Twp., where he lived and died.  His son Joseph (known as Big Joe) also lived and died there.  It was then sold to Isaac Detweiler and later to Aaron Yerger.  This farm originally extended back to the Tohickon.

Jacob was listed on page 43-44 in the Fretz Family History and Genealogy.

Catharine Magdalena NASH

Magdalena was mentioned on page 174-175 in the Fretz Family History and Genealogy.
(The Ziegenhain Gene. said her name was Magdalena Catherine.)

   Some Quaker Families, Scarborough/Haworth by Roger S. Boone, pg 15.
   Married between 4 Oct and 2 Nov 1748 to Mary Brown.
   1748/9 he sold his share of his father's land to John Haworth.
   15 Oct 1722 George Haworth, his father, wrote that he had 4 childre, 3 boys and 1 daughter, so one of the boys should be below Mary.  If Rachel was living, 1723 should be the birth date for Mary.  Some think John was younger than James because he was put under the care of Absalom Haworth when he and James moved to VA.
