Wilson, with his family, was living in Calif. when his sister Elmira died
in 1937.  Do not know rather he returned to Kansas, or his body was returned
for burial.
From an obituary of the sister of Wilson, Elmirea Hostetler, there is much
to be gleaned.  Sent by teh clerk of Morrill City offices, Kansas, 24 Aug.
1992.
                          Obituary
Elmira Hostetler, daughter of Levi and Carloline Hostetler, was born November
25, 1861 near Myersdale, Penn., and departed this life at the hospital at
Horton, Kansas, April 6, 1937, aged 75 years, 4 months and 12 days.
In 1865 she came with her parents to Franklin Grove, Illinois.  At that
place her father passed away in 1873.  Then in 1880 her mother and the children
came to Morrill, Kansas.  She has since made this her home with the exception
of some time spent in Oklahoma and also Sabetha, Kansas.
She became a member of the Church of the Brethern in 1896.  Her church work
was always uppermost in her mind.  For the past twenty years she was president
of the Aid Society.  She was always willing and ready to help anybody within
her reach.
Her health began to fail about a year ago and since that time she was under
a doctors care.  Her last illness was short.  She became ill on Tuesday, March
30 and Friday when it changed to pneumonia, she was moved to the hospital at
Horton where she passed away.
During her last year she felt as though her life's work was done.  SHe did
not want to becomea burden upon anyone.  She waited patiently and longly for
the call to come, to come up higher.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. J. H. Berkley, of Morrill, a brother,
Wilson Hostetler of California, and one half-brother, Edward Wolford, of
Alexander of, Nebraska, twenty four nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services were conducted from her church on April by the pastor, Harvey
R. Hostetler.  Burial was made in the Morrill Cemetery.  Blessed are the dead
that die in the Lord.
